Hikmah – The Modern Madrasa of Ghana exists to:
1. Root students in Qur’anic wisdom, ethical character, and a love of lifelong learning.
2. Equip them with modern skills — languages, technology, critical thinking — to thrive in a globalized world.
3. Bridge tradition and modernity by harmonizing Islamic values with science, arts, and leadership.
4. Inspire service, confidence, and creativity so they contribute to Ghana, Africa, and the world as leaders of change.
PROGRAMS
Hikmah means “Wisdom.” It is our guiding light: to raise wise, peaceful, and confident young people who shine in both faith and the modern world.
Little Star Graduate (Grades 2–5)
Joyful introduction to Islam and Arabic. Islamic Prayer Rituals (Ablution, Salat. etc) Ghanaian folktales, songs, art, and values. Building habits of respect, kindness, and responsibility.
Young Scholar (Grades 6–9)
Foundations in faith, Arabic basics, and cultural pride. Discipline, study skills, and respectful debate. Identity rooted in Ghana, open to the world
Certified Youth Leader (Grades 10–12)
Islamic philosophy + comparative worldviews. Arabic literacy for reading and writing. Leadership training, peace-building, and global citizenship.
